A day at the beach for Jim and Derek (Vemps.net). No surf. No shorts. No sand. Just Dagger-injected art and it’s Upchuckery. Hope you enjoy the five pieces Ocean Beach!

Huge thanks to those that made it out to the last Dagger art sesh last Friday. Lots of art and fun was had by all!
The next art sesh will be in OB on Saturday January 28th from 12:00pm-3:00pm at Robb Field. Get ready to chill with your Dagger buddies and share the stencils with a new crowd in the San Diego sun!

Thanks to everybody who came out to our first art show. Art lovers bought pieces, some got pieces, and everyone got cookies (if they arrived early enough). There were over 50 pieces on display, and over 60 people squeezed into a one-car-garage-turned-art-studio; keep and eye out for the next art show.

Thanks to Risen Magazine for putting on this event and thanks to Andrea, Amanda, and Brian for helping run the Bible spray paint workshop and rockin’ them Volunteer badges well. The event showcased two additional San Diego-based nonprofits and brought out nearly 100 college students. The food niblets were bangin’ and Jimmy Rippy, AKA Jim’s Personal Barista, made me smile with lots o’ coffee. This slideshow requires JavaScript.
We met with NavPress Publishing in Colorado Springs, CO on Friday, July 8th about getting a Message version Dagger and full-size Bible made. As a result of this meeting (which went quite well I must say), we’ve got a much clearer picture on how to proceed with this project and are going to begin a fundraising campaign with a goal of $50,000 to start printing them on a large-scale. More info on this effort coming soon. The four-day drive-up-drive-back trip was uber-splendid. Here’s the pics to prove it. Huge Thanks to Amanda’s parents for getting us the rental car, Avis Car Rental for awesome customer service, Jayson for showing us what to do in Downtown Colorado Springs, Wafflehouse for being Wafflehouse, and NavPress for taking the time to hear about how Dagger Project will make their Bibles look really cool.
Contrary to my over-confident intro, we only got six Dagger-injected art pieces up this night: three biggies, three smallies. Again, it was a school night, even though I’ve been outta school since 2005… Biggie thanks to Andrea for carrying my backpack, Monsieur Russel for the bangin’ photos, and Clint for shooting the film on his virgin art drop voyage.

Thanks to all who made it out to our Dagger party last Saturday, June 25th, especially if you brought the humus, pizza, cookies, dranks, etc. We got a bunch of art done too that’s getting Up Chucked and Roof Dropped later this week. If you didn’t make it out this time, no fret; we’ve got another one coming up scheduled for Saturday, July 30th. If you’d like to come out, join our Facebook group page to receive details as they come up.
